Machu picchu Full Day

Hotel pick-up in Cusco, followed by a transfer to the train station to board the train heading to Aguas Calientes (a small town near the Machu Picchu Sanctuary). The train journey lasts approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes and offers spectacular landscapes along the route.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will head to the bus station to take the transportation that will take us uphill to the Machu Picchu ruins. This short bus ride lasts only 20 minutes.

Finally, we will arrive at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, where our local guide will provide a 2-hour guided tour through the most important sectors of this beautiful Inca citadel. We will also visit the Intiwatana of Machu Picchu, located at the highest part of the citadel, the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Condor, and other significant areas.

After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the citadel on your own. In the afternoon, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch (lunch not included).

In the afternoon, we will return by train to Cusco, followed by reception and transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
