DAY 01.- CUSCO – URUBAMBA – ART ACTIVITY
Transportation from the Cusco airport to Urubamba.
Slow food is about offering an extended period of time to enjoy the meal, slowly and peacefully; the kitchen staff can provide you with some explanation on the dish preparation between courses.
Nap time for acclimatization.
Art Activity at the hotel. Watercolor painting lesson where you can practice mindfully with the local artists in a setting with Cusco natural landscapes.
Accommodation in the Sonesta Yucay hotel, Urubamba.

DAY 02.- VISIT TO THE MARKET – INTERACTION WITH ARTISANS – MINDFUL WALKING
Moment of meditation (yoga or mindfulness) guided by a facilitator in the natural settings of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Sensory visit to the local Market where you can see, touch, smell all of the local products and directly interact with traders to learn about their origin.
Interaction with artisans in Chinchero, where you will learn about the textile fiber spinning, dyeing, and confection techniques.
Lunch at the Tunupa “Hacienda” where you will find all of the products identified during your visit. Return to the hotel.
We suggest taking a Mindful Walk around the Platforms of Yucay next to the hotel in order to disconnect from daily life and enjoy the experience with your 5 senses. In this place, you can find the largest platform system in the entire Valley, with small pre-Hispanic stairs attached to each platform, surrounded by a river that was channelized during the Inca period, denoting an exquisite architectural design.

DAY 03.- SONESTA YUCAY – OLLANTA – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Transportation from the Sonesta Yucay hotel to the Ollanta station to take the train to Aguas Calientes.
Visit to the ruins of Machu Picchu. Departure from the bus station on the vehicle that will take us uphill to the ruins of Machu Picchu. This short trip is only 20 minutes and rides a very steep and zigzagging unpaved track through a mountain with rainforest features and breathtaking views.
We will finally reach the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu where our local guide will give us a tour to the most important sectors of this beautiful Inca citadel. In Machu Picchu, we will take a 2-hour tour with our guide and visit the agricultural area consisting of sets of farming terraces, the urban area where its inhabitants lived and the main civil and religious activities took place. We will also visit the Machu Picchu Intiwatana stone that is located at the highest point of the citadel, the Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Condor and other important areas. In the afternoon, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes where you can have lunch (lunch is Not included). Return by train from Aguas Calientes to Cusco. DAY 04.- TAMBOMACHAY – MINDFUL TRAIL WITH FOREST BATHING
Departure to the ruins of Tambomachay, a beautiful place where water flows out of a hill towards fountains that were built by the Incas. It is said that the Inca Emperor would come here to take baths and perform religious worship for the water. We will then head to an original Inca trail and walk along paths full of vegetation surrounded by Inca ruins.
Nature will delight us with green landscapes in this area surrounded by the energy of our ancestors. We will find Inca shrines, landscapes that will allow us to be in contact with nature and have a quiet time to contemplate part of the mountains and connect with ourselves, discover our senses and reach a peaceful state of mind to help strengthening our body.
Nature allows us to reconnect and value what is important in life, this time will allow us to be at ease and enjoy the eucalyptus and Polylepis “Forest Bathing”, we will descent to the ruins of Inkillatambo and end our tour after 3 hours, then a transportation unit will pick you up.
Get your outdoor shoes ready because the Inca trails will surprise you.

DAY 05.- WALK AROUND THE CITY OF CUSCO – DEPARTURE
Accompanied by a local guide, you will walk around the city of Cusco and get to know the most important places in the imperial city, with entry to the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, which was destroyed and plundered during the time of the conquest. The church and convent of Santo Domingo is built on its foundations. There is currently a museum with all of the Inca pieces that were found there during the excavations.
